"Zima", pronounced zi-'mä, means "winter" in Russian, so I was born to be cool, and it's only natural that I fell in love with the coolest CMS on planet Earth. It seems that with Drupal you can do just about anything, even with zero background in programming.

Being a professional translator all my life, I always wanted to create a multilingual website, which would serve at least two purposes. First, help me make some money to pay the bills, and second, be a meeting point for people with backgrounds and interests similar to mine. To some extent this mission was accomplished with my previous static versions of zima.net the latest of which is available here, but I felt I could do better than that.

This time, I will make it a real cool place. For cool people.
